Previous studies have examined and defined alliances, networks and other forms of interfirm collaboration from different point of views. All of these studies used their own definitions of alliances, network organizations, partnerships, interfirm cooperations or other forms of collaboration. This study will explore and reveal these different kind of alliance definitions or typologies by distinguishing these definitions.
